About Us

Hello, I’m Betty.

I have spent the last 17+ years in real estate development, property management, and most recently hospitality. But, more importantly, outside of my professional career I think I am somewhat of a vacation rental aficionado.

Over the last several years, my husband and I have stayed at many vacation rentals across the map. We feel the most important amenity is the common area. The place to gather, for our family, friends, company, or groups of families. Don’t get me wrong, we love hotels and resorts just as much but when looking for a place to truly bond, we find ourselves most content with other peoples’ homes. We know these vacation homes are designed to be one of a kind and furnished and maintained with pride. We appreciate the privacy of separate bedrooms and the ability to regroup as soon as we leave those rooms without having to go down the hall, up the elevator, etc. We appreciate being able to dine at one table, for the kids to play and slumber together, to BBQ outside, and to finally crack open the board games. We feel these are the amenities that really offer room for memories to be made.

So that takes you to where we are now and what we are trying to accomplish in the near future. I think now is the appropriate time to introduce my husband, Ken. He simply sits back, watches me go a bit crazy as I go through the escrow processes, furnish and renovate homes, and then gets to fully soak in the end result when I give him the go. He is the appreciator and I’ll admit, I am a bit jealous. He is also the hauler, the lugger, the ‘yes, that looks fine” guy, and the biggest supporter of making my dreams a reality. And I, in addition to being the mastermind 😉, love to host. I appreciate the smallest details and I am focused on furnishing homes I would wholeheartedly enjoy.

It has been a goal of ours to have vacation homes in our favorite destination areas so we have places to create traditions with our own family. We have a fast growing 7-year-old who has been as adventurous as we have been. And thrilled to share that we just welcomed a baby girl to the family. Ken and I made a pact when we decided to start a family and it was to open our children’s eyes and mind to all the diversified places and cultures the world has to offer.

We hope you enjoy our homes as much as we have enjoyed preparing them for your visit. Come on in and Stay Awhile.

Ultimately, the power of the Airbnb platform is that it motivates guests to blend into communities, belong anywhere, and live like locals.
